Description

The Honda Screed Vibrator, model SBI25E, serves as a construction tool for concrete flooring work. The manufacturer forms the frame from aluminium - the weight stays low and the operator moves the unit without strain. Plates come in different lengths and the crew bolts on the size that matches the slab width. A gasoline engine from Honda drives an eccentric weight - the weight shakes the plate plus the plate compresses the wet concrete while it strikes off excess paste. Air voids rise and break - the surface ends flat and uniform. Contractors start the engine with a pull cord, guide the handles but also complete floors in less time than with hand methods. The same engine runs for years with standard maintenance and the sealed bearings need no daily greasing.
